They specially focused on freelancing, freelancing can be a career, because Bangladesh is a third world country we have unemployment problem, so that it would be an alternative career. And another focusing topic was that we are providing free freelancing training to change their lives.

On that report Meherpur News 24 Online Newspaper mainly focused on freelance can be great career opportunity. Not needed any investment, just need skill. They mentioned our Executive Director got success on freelance. They also mentioned that we are providing free freelancing training; they appreciate it, because this is a great social welfare work and it’s completely free. They also mentioned that we built up Hirok Foundation (formerly Unique Soft BD), and also mentioned that our General Manager (Ashraful Alam) also a successful freelancer, he is earning much from different freelancing site per month. He also is bearing his family from this career.

They involved our Executive Director’s success story and about our free freelancing training service. They provided example that freelancing can be a great career for Bangladesh, because there are unemployment problem in Bangladesh. So freelancing can be great opportunity to solve that problem.

Hot News 24 is a popular online based daily news media. On April 17, 2014 they published our Executive Director’s news and Hirok Foundation (formerly Unique Soft BD)’s news.

On that news, they actually created a tips based news that how to become a freelancer. They gave example of success story of our Executive Director. They mentioned that our Executive Director got success on freelancing, earning much from different freelance market place as well as discussed that our Executive Director also providing free freelancing training to his local area’s unemployed people.

Ekattor Television is most popular Bangladeshi Satellite television station. Ekattor Television published our news on 17th September 2013 at 5:15 PM’s news; exact time was 5:18 PM. They published our Executive Director, General Manager, and Director of Training’s interview, also published about the succession of Hirok Foundation (formerly Unique Soft BD). Ekattor Television mentioned that freelancing becomes very popular in border city Meherpur. Many unemployed people become employed with freelancing in Meherpur, they are earning and eventually financially supporting their families. Our Executive Director first learnt about freelancing and started working as a professional in this arena. Manik (Correspondent of Ekattor Television): Why you chosen freelancing rather than other jobs?

Munshi Jahangir Zinnat (Hirok Foundation (formerly Unique Soft BD)’s Executive Director): I was working on a telecommunication company, at the same time I learnt about freelancing from different blogs, started working on freelancing. After getting potential from freelancing I switched my career from telecommunication job to freelancing. Freelancing offered opportunity to earn more than normal jobs as well as there is opportunity to work independently. That’s why I came back to my own village and continued with freelancing and started working from home.

Manik: Why you started providing free training?

Munshi: Freelancing is performance based work no education qualification and experiences or other qualifications is necessarily demanded; so if I (Executive Director) provide them a little training and show them how to work on freelancing marketplace, they can be able to work on the freelancing marketing place. On this way 33 people already got their jobs on freelance marketplace.

Manik asked to Ashraful Alam (Hirok Foundation (formerly Unique Soft BD)’s General Manager): What potential you got on freelancing?

Ashraful: I am working from last year; I am earning quite much per month from freelancing marketplace.
Manik asked to Philip Mollik (Hirok Foundation (formerly Unique Soft BD)’s Director of Training): Why you chosen freelancing?

Philip: I just started freelancing on search engine optimization (SEO), though I am on freelancing as a part timer but already earned a bit, I am service holder on another private organization. I gained financial independence with the help of freelancing.
